The All Stars is the fixture that brings two cultures together to showcase the greatest respective Indigenous athletes in Australia and New Zealand

Ahead of the 2026 edition, Zero Tackle ranks the best clashes between these two cultures since its inception in 2019, based on score, atmosphere, teams, individual performances and the impact it's left on Rugby League.

Indigenous 28 - Maroi 24

The first time the fixture was played outside of Australia, and it delivered.

The Indigenous boys got the job done over in Rotorua, with a 24-28 win. Selwyn Cobbo scored a hattrick in the final quarter of the match from the left wing to secure the victory in front of a vocal crowd in the afternoon.

Nicho Hynes coming off a Dally M Medal victory had a masterclass, having his fingerprints on most of the tries while scoring a great solo one too. A gripping fixture to set the tone for the season ahead.
