The All Stars is the fixture that brings two cultures together to showcase the greatest respective Indigenous athletes in Australia and New Zealand

Ahead of the 2026 edition, Zero Tackle ranks the best clashes between these two cultures since its inception in 2019, based on score, atmosphere, teams, individual performances and the impact it's left on Rugby League.

5. 2019

Indigenous 34 - Maori 14

The inaurgural clash between two cultures, there was fireworks straight off the bat to signal that we were in for something special, with the war cry and haka from respective teams bringing the fans to their feet.

There was also a young David Fifita unleashed onto the scene, scoring an impressive try from a grubber. Blake Ferguson also had a day out to remember, scoring a classy try along with a backflip celebration. Indigenous All-Stars were too good, resulting in a 34-14 victory at AAMI Park in Melbourne.
