Following the completion of the fourth round of the 2025 NRL season, several teams will look to change up their team, while others will enter Round 5 with the exact same line-up.

Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers), Thomas Hazelton (Cronulla Sharks) and Nelson Asofa-Solomona (Melbourne Storm) are just a few players that are set to be available for selective heading into Round 5.

However, while some return, the likes of Brian To'o (Penrith Panthers), Tom Trbojevic (Manly Sea Eagles), Jarome Luai (Wests Tigers), Kayal Iro (Cronulla Sharks) and Alex Johnston (South Sydney Rabbitohs) have been ruled out for this week.

Penrith Panthers

After suffering their third consecutive loss last week, Ivan Cleary is bound to make some changes to his side, which will be boosted by the inclusions of Nathan Cleary and Dylan Edwards (he remains a 50/50 chance).

However, winger Brian To'o will spend up to a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and so will Scott Sorensen (concussion) for at least one week.

“Nathan will be back, but ‘Bizza' (To'o) won't be. Hopefully Dyl will be,” Ivan Cleary said.

“He (To'o) will be out for a few weeks.”

The McLean brothers - Casey and Jesse - firm as his obvious replacement.

Projected Round 5 Team: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Jesse McLean 3. Izack Tago 4. Paul Alamoti 5. Casey McLean 6. Jack Cole 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. Lindsay Smith 11.  Isaiah Papali'i 12. Liam Martin 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Brad Schneider 15. Luron Patea 16. Liam Henry 17. Luke Garner

North Queensland Cowboys

After securing their first win of the season last week against the Raiders, Todd Payten isn't forced into any changes for this week and is set to run the same line-up as they attempt to make it back-to-back victories.
