The QRL have hosted their annual awards night, naming the Intrust Super Cup Team of the Year which features a number of Melbourne Storm affiliated players.

Young Storm hooker, Brandon Smith, missed out on the Hooker of the Year award but was rewarded for a stellar season with the Sunshine Coast Falcons by being named as the Rookie of the Year.

Easts Tigers halfback Brodie Croft finished high on the Player of the Year voting and was selected in the Team of the Year.

While yet another Storm player featured in the Team of the Year, with Justin Olam taking out the centre position thanks to his strong form for the Falcons.

The PNG Hunters finished the season as minor premiers, with their coach Michael Marum being named as the Coach of the Year.
