ESPN's Chicago Bulls-Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance has been the highlight television event during this pandemic, with some calling the 10-part series the best sporting documentary of all time.

It got us thinking - if there were behind the scenes footage of that extent in rugby league, what would we want documented? What rugby league tales, legends, dynasties, controversies, would we want the lid lifted upon?

Here's the top five rugby league stories of the last few years that we would watch.

3. The Dynasty

Detailing Queensland's impressive eight straight Origin series wins

This would be a hard watch for New South Wales fans.

From that Game III intercept pass into the hands of Darren Lockyer, to the 2010 whitewash, that 2012 field goal from Cooper Cronk, to the final of the eight straight in 2013.

Interviews with Mal Meninga and inside looks within the leadership group, as well as footage from the New South Wales camp and how they try to combat players like Cronk, Smith, Slater, Inglis, Lockyer and Boyd.

  1. If the real truth behind the “stripped” came out then this would get my vote.

    I am strongly of the belief that the storm were dudded over this cheating. I accept that they were cheating its just the lack of proper investigation and the punishment process that I struggle with.
