Following the completion of the fourth round of the 2025 NRL season, several teams will look to change up their team, while others will enter Round 5 with the exact same line-up.

Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers), Thomas Hazelton (Cronulla Sharks) and Nelson Asofa-Solomona (Melbourne Storm) are just a few players that are set to be available for selective heading into Round 5.

However, while some return, the likes of Brian To'o (Penrith Panthers), Tom Trbojevic (Manly Sea Eagles), Jarome Luai (Wests Tigers), Kayal Iro (Cronulla Sharks) and Alex Johnston (South Sydney Rabbitohs) have been ruled out for this week.

Manly Sea Eagles

In a massive blow for the Manly Sea Eagles, fullback Tom Trbojevic (MCL) is set to spend up to the next six weeks on the sidelines with Lehi Hopoate to take his place at the back of the field.

The club will also be sweating on the availability status of forward Josh Aloiai after he left the field with injury.

“He obviously needs scans, but it looks like it's an MCL. Again, we will get scans tomorrow, but coming from the medical meeting then, those type of injuries are about five or six weeks,” coach Anthony Seibold said on Trbojevic during his post-match press conference.

“Again, I don't want to pre-empt anything or put a timeline on anything because we need to get it diagnosed and understand that's what it is.

“We will come up with a plan, but obviously he is very disappointed and I mean, we were really disappointed to lose him there at halftime.”

Melbourne Storm

Jahrome Hughes (hand) may be sidelined for another week, but the Storm will receive Nelson Asofa-Solomona (concussion) back into the team and will take his rightful spot on the interchange bench.

The return of Asofa-Solomona will see Marion Seve drop out of the team after being a late-minute replacement for Lazarus Vaalepu.
