St George Illawarra winger Jordan Pereira has extended his stay at the Dragons.
Already signed until the end of 2020, Pereira will now be with the club until 2021 after adding an extra year to his deal.
"The long-term future is the key for me. The security is huge for my partner and I. This will open many opportunities for us in the future as far as kids, buying a house and other things we're looking forward to," Pereira said on the club website.
"When I arrived at the Dragons, I knew I wasn't ready to play first grade but I knew if I was going to be ready I'd have to become a sponge and soak up all the information of the leaders and coaching staff around me.
"They have been crucial for my development, and the best thing is that I'm still learning."
Pereira's extension follows the recent key reacquisition of Dragons duo Tariq Sims and Matt Dufty.
I think he showed good promise last year, but the other wing spot is the problem. I’d give Ravalawa a go. Lomax centres only, Aitken/Lafai as other centre. Lafai/Ravalawa for wing?

Just a suggestion, we don’t have many options other than Ravalawa.
I agree that we are light on there, but I would think that a young fast kid in SG Ball given an opportunity should be the way to go.
Even Dufty there to ensure he is still in the 17 while Widdop is at fullback. (I don’t think that experiment will last too many rounds)
