Never one to be afraid of speaking his mind, Ben Hunt has opened up regarding his current role at the Brisbane Broncos.
A specialist halfback who can play hooker, Hunt has started two games in the halves for the Broncos this season, and come off the bench for the other two.
However, the 36-year-old is clearly not a fan of the current arrangement, unhappy with the inconsistency of his role.
"I guess it's frustrating in some aspects," Hunt told the media.
"I've done it before in the past throughout my career at different stages.
"I'm used to it and as frustrating as it is doing that, it's something that, like I said, I'm used to and I just have to get on with it."
Unfortunately for Hunt, an avenue into the starting thirteen seems unlikely.

Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam the clear halves choice going forward as is Corey Paix at hooker, who was recently rewarded with a two-year contract extension.
For Hunt, he is seemingly stuck between a rock and a hard place, and may find himself on the bench more often than not.
But at 36 years old, the veteran knows the situation, and admitted that at the end of the day, he wants to do what is best for the team.
"You know, I'm not the coach. I'm not in the performance staff and all that. I'm not pulling the strings. I'm just here to do my job and wherever I'm asked to go that week, I'll go and do the best I can," Hunt added.
The Broncos take on the Gold Coast Titans this weekend with Hunt named to come off the bench for the second week in a row.
