ESPN's Chicago Bulls-Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance has been the highlight television event during this pandemic, with some calling the 10-part series the best sporting documentary of all time.

It got us thinking - if there were behind the scenes footage of that extent in rugby league, what would we want documented? What rugby league tales, legends, dynasties, controversies, would we want the lid lifted upon?

The Sydney Roosters journey to becoming the first team in 26 years to win back-to-back premierships

They said it was impossible. After winning a competition, you are the hunted. You are the side every team circles on their calendar, the game club's lift for.

The documentary would show how the side lifted following Cooper Cronk's retirement announcement, the effect veteran Brett Morris had as well as the hole left by Blake Ferguson, Dylan Napa and Ryan Matterson, the physical affect on the bodies of the players after being targeted week in, week out by teams.

And finally how the year finished with ten wins from their final eleven games, all from behind closed doors.

  1. If the real truth behind the “stripped” came out then this would get my vote.

    I am strongly of the belief that the storm were dudded over this cheating. I accept that they were cheating its just the lack of proper investigation and the punishment process that I struggle with.
