The NRL has announced a group of players short-listed for induction into the league Hall of Fame.
Some legends of the game have been nominated, but only four will be added to the prestigious honour roll, to be held in Sydney on Wednesday, August 14.
The board of contributors will have the opportunity to announce and add one administrator, one print journalist and one broadcast journalist to the Hall of Fame for their work off-field.
"This is a wonderful group of players - all whom would not look out of place in our Hall of Fame," NRL CEO Todd Greenberg told NRL.com.
"We have literally thousands of games of experience and at least one player in every position.
"The players cross a range of era too, being a wonderful reflection of the game's incredible history.
"The formal induction of our players and our contributors will be an extremely special and memorable night."
