Newcastle Knights forward Pauli Pauli has been seriously injured after being involved in a seven-car pile-up last night, according to reports.
Emergency services were called to the northbound lanes of the M1 Pacific Motorway at Cowan just before 10pm on Wednesday, police said.
Channel Seven is reporting Pauli Pauli has sustained a hip and leg injury, and was in Gosford Hospital on Thursday morning.
