The Gold Coast Titans said goodbye to six players this past week.

Included were former million-dollar man Ashley Taylor, as well as staple of the club Mitch Rein.

Most surprising of all though was their releasing former Origin utility Tyrone Peachey.

The very same Tyrone Peachey who played five-eighth in their first finals appearance since 2016.

Truthfully, I don't totally understand the decision but the Titans loss is going to be another team's gain given the undoubted talent Peachey holds.

We look at five of the most likely destinations for a player who can start at centre, in the halves or in the pack:

3. Melbourne Storm

I'm absolutely fearful of what Tyrone Peachey could become under the watchful eye of Craig Bellamy.

He is exactly the kind of player Bellamy and the Storm would turn from raw talented player into megastar practically overnight.

The Storm will lose Nicho Hynes at the end of the season. His bench spot has been to add a creative influence in the middle.

Tyrone Peachey is a more experienced, slightly larger framed, like-for-like replacement.

I'm not sure exactly what the Storm cap situation is like. Honestly, I don't think it matters. If Bellamy sees Peachey as the answer he will find a way to make it happen.
