The North Queensland Cowboys haveย announced the re-signing ofย young forward Patrick Kaufusi to a one-year contract extension.
The New Zealand-born Bundaberg Brothers junior has come through the clubโs Elite Pathways program, playing for the clubโs under-20s team and then for feeder team the Northern Pride in the Intrust Super Cup.
Kaufusi, 22, made his NRL debut for the club in Round 16 last year and has played a total of nine games in the top grade.
