In some good news for the Parramatta Eels, both Kieran Foran and Beau Scott are expected to be fit and available for selection in Round 12 after both players picked up injuries in the loss to Melbourne.

Second-rower Beau Scott left the field during the Eels’ Round 11 loss to the Storm with a corked thigh, but is hopeful of returning to the field for Round 12 in Newcastle.

Kieran Foran picked up a knock to the shoulder on Monday night at Pirtek Stadium and while scans have cleared him of major injury, the half will be treated during the week for inflammation. Foran is expected to be available for selection in Round 12

Halfback Mitch Cornish will miss approximately 8 weeks of competition after suffering a medial cruciate ligament injury in the Wentworthville Magpies’ Round 11 loss to the North Sydney Bears.

Winger Bureta Faraimo will likely miss another 4 weeks of competition with a fractured eye socket, while Club Captain Tim Mannah is expected to return from a fractured shoulder blade after the Round 13 bye.

Second-rower Kelepi Tanginoa will miss approximately 12 more weeks of competition following surgery for syndesmosis of the ankle.

Anthony Watmough remains unavailable for selection following a pre-season knee injury.
