The Broncos have enjoyed an improved start to the 2021 season, but with all due respect to Kevin Walters men, they're still far from the finished product.
With major names off contract and plenty of money to spend, the Broncos are set to be a key figure in the player market.
Below are five players I believe the Broncos should target for 2022.
As with previous lists, I'm only mentioning players I can see moving. For the record I don't see Angus Crichton leaving the Roosters so he has not been included.
5. Kurt Capewell
If Adam Reynolds is beyond reach, then Kurt Capewell should be the first priority signing for the Broncos.
They have a stacked young forward pack, but with Alex Glenn at 32 years of age and TPJ still seen firstly as a lock, Capewell walks into this side as an 80-minute back-rower.
The Panthers wide-running weapon has enjoyed a brilliant start to the season following a 10/10 Origin series. Simply put, Capewell is the kind of player Brisbane should be falling over themselves to sign.

If reports are true, discussions have started, but if I'm Brisbane, I'm all in on the utility. He becomes the side's top staring second-rower and is an 80-minute player you don't need to worry about.
Salary cap pressures at Penrith mean a star or two will be squeezed out. For the Broncos sake they will be hoping it's the very answer to their needs in Capewell.
