Brisbane Broncos young gun David Fifita is locked in a Bali jail after reportedly being arrested following a brawl outside a Bali nightclub.
Fifita is holidaying in his off-season and it appears he has found trouble at the same nightclub as Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona last month.
Channel 7 is reporting that a statement by Bali police confirms that a foreigner is being detained and has yet to be questioned about the incident.
"Based on the report, police went to the crime scene, asking witnesses and the victim. A bule (foreigner) that was allegedly the perpetrator was arrested," said Kuta police chief Puta Ika Prabawa.
"The perpetrator was taken to Kuta police station for further investigation.
"The alleged perpetrator could not be interrogated yet as he is still under the influence of alcohol."
The Broncos are aware of the situation and have an official on their way to Bali.

"The Brisbane Broncos have today been made aware that David Fifita has been detained by authorities in Bali after an alleged incident involving a security guard,” said the Broncos statement.
"The club is working with representatives in Bali to provide David all the support he needs, and a Broncos official is travelling to Indonesia today."

The easiest thing to do in the future, is to take Bali off of the travel list. Especially for anyone who has a high profile.
We all understand how it works Shadow, and I would say until the full time siren sounds and the Roosters have won their 22nd Premiership, you will keep reminding us of the glorious tradition of South Sydney. Did you see the photo of Fifita shaking hands with the security guard? It looked like an elephant and a mouse.
If he said sorry right after it happened slung the guy 50 the cops would not have come he would not have been locked up for the weekend it would not have made the papers and the Broncos would have saved the money for sending someone over to sort it out.
