Our Round 15 guest tipper is none other than Peter Beattie, who was recently appointed as the Chairman of the Australian Rugby League Commission in February.

Back in his days as a politician, Beattie was the Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade from 1998 to 2007.

He was more recently the Chairman of the GOLDOC, the Organising Committee for the Commonwealth Games in, a title he held for two years before the Games ended in April 2018.

Beattie joined the Zero Tackle team during the week to give us his tips for the upcoming round!

Peter Beattie's NRL tips for Round 15

Rabbitohs v Eels

"Souths are in great form and likely Grand Finalists. Eels are tough but have not had a great season. Next year will be their year."

Tip: Souths by 10.

Warriors v Cowboys

"When the Warriors turn up to play they are devastating. Cowboys have plenty of talent but have disappointed. Loss against the Eels last week in Darwin was a shocker."

Tip: Warriors by 12.

Roosters v Panthers

"This will be a tough close game and hard to call. Confidence will win this game and the Panthers are on a roll."

Tip: Panthers by 2.

Bulldogs v Titans

"Again a close game. Titans could surprise but I think a narrow win to the Bulldogs based on mid season trying to prove a point."

Tip: Dogs by 2.

Dragons v Sea Eagles

"Dragons are in good form. Certainly a good chance for the finals. Manly have been too inconsistent."

Tip: Dragons by 10.

Sharks v Broncos

"Another close game. Sharks are gaining confidence at a time when the Broncos are losing it."

Tip: Sharks by 5.

Storm v Knights

"Premier’s Storm are just too good."

Tip: Storm by 16.

Tigers v Raiders

"Both need a win. Tigers are slightly hungrier than the Raiders."

Tip: Tigers by 5
