Brisbane has reportedly informed back-rower Jaydn Su'A he is free to leave the Broncos and join Wayne Bennett at South Sydney before the June 30 deadline.
According to The Courier-Mail, the Broncos have given Su'A the all clear, with the 21-year-old set to reunite with Bennett on a deal that will take him through to the end of the 2021 season.
Su'A joins a long list of outgoings under new Broncos coach Anthony Seibold, following the departures of Josh McGuire, Jordan Kahu, Kodi Nikorima and James Roberts under Seibold's reign.
The forward played the first six games of the 2019 season, before being demoted to the Intrust Super Cup two months ago, before a recent recall to first grade.
Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett spoke to the media regarding his chase for Su'A, saying he hopes to bring him across before the deadline.
“I’m talking to Jaydn,” Bennett told reporters.
“We’re keen on him, he’s keen to come and Brisbane are happy to let him go, so now it’s a matter of negotiating the right deal and we’re hopeful we can sort something out in the next few days.
“There’s a few clubs interested in him, that’s what his management are saying, but I have a high opinion of Jaydn and I think he can offer something at our club.
“Souths actually tried to sign him last year but I never wanted to lose him.
“He’s a talent.”

Good pick up this late in the season will make a difference or sure, goes with our other resignings of yesterday, not sure what Seibold is doing up there but glad he’s gone from Souths, Bennett has been awesome since coming here and could quite easily take us all the way to a title.
Now wait for the useless reply from Russ woody, this oxygen thief who really should’nt have access to a computer in his mental state.
What’s better than 2 trbojevics?
3 trbojevics.
Well done Manly.
Can’t believe the Roosters missed this one.
The relocation credentialed Sydney Roosters (no juniors, declining members) missed the boat with Su’A and as you can see above are in breakdown mode.
Now they are stuck with origin failure overpaid cry baby Crighton and the other origin time waster Radley who was Cameron Murray’s luggage carrier.
Lol…everyone wants out of Brisbane! Not such a glamour club any more…The Broncos ship, is sinking, and what a beautiful sight it is to see…
Absolutely, firing WB has backfired on them big time and Seibold looks like he is single handedly destroying the club.

Now the other nobody Flanagan (son of disgraced coach Shane) not allowed to join the sombreros till next season.
More news to come on them trying to piss off Cordner for Wade Graham.
I spoke to an ex rooster member and asked him why their membership was in tatters and he told me that since they did away with a junior development program the club became void of whatever soul it had left.
He stressed that many ex members believe that the heart and soul of any NRL club is its junior base and without that they are left to scam and poach the elite from other clubs which to anyone with self respect is unacceptable.
There you go Crusty, there’s your club in a nutshell from one of your own.
BTW, well done Souths and well done Manly on the news of the great signings just released.
GLORY, GLORY.
Glory glory…
