Broncos’ forward Jaydn Su’A has been hit with a charge from the match review committee out of last night’s loss to the Dragons.

Su’A was served with a grade one shoulder charge notice for a tackle on Paul Vaughan late in the match.

With no prior similar offence and with only one non-similar offence, Su’A only attracted a 20 percent loading for the charge.

That means with an early guilty plea he could accrue only 180 demerit points, and miss only one match.

This was the only charge out of the game, won 34-12 by the Dragons.

  1. Vaughn did go charging through and was a long way in of the ball. he got hammered. Maybe Sua ate the dummy. 2 weeks would be a bit harsh for a bloke with no record. According to woodchook this type of stuff is fine.

  2. A should charge is a Should Charge, it was Blatant, stuff this stupid politically correct points system, he did the crime, he should do the time.

If that was Dylan Napa or Paul Gallen everyone would be crying foul…

  3. Its the first time he’s done it mate. If it was on a smaller player and not front on it would be a bigger deal. Front on and on a Prop its not that cheap a shot to me. Not saying it was Ok but its not worth a couple of weeks. Gallen has a reputation is experienced and has a decent rap sheet. This bloke has none of that. No one even knows who he is!

  4. Tough talk from the armchair expert greggo, you are muppet. Love to see you get smashed like that, you would never have gotten up again.
