Melbourne Storm premiership-winning halfback Cooper Cronk is set to play on for another two seasons.

Cronk’s manager confirmed that Cronk met with him on Friday to explore his options in Sydney.

“Cooper asked me to explore what opportunities are out there and he will play if the right option exists,” Mimis said.

Since Cronk announced his departure from Melbourne to be closer with his Fox Sports fiancée Tara Rushton, speculation has been ongoing on where the representative halfback’s next destination will be.

Many speculated that Cronk would hang up the boots if he were to win the premiership, in which he did. Now, Cronk is set to consider offers from Sydney clubs.

Cronk would be a valuable asset to any club and will provide an immediate impact on and off the field.
