Wigan Warriors have confirmed the signing of New Zealand prop Frank-Paul Nuuausala on a three-and-a-half year deal.

The 29-year-old is expected to link up with the Warriors next month, with the Super League club having started the process of applying for a visa for the Canberra Raiders player.

Nuuausala has already won an NRL title and been part of a victorious World Club Challenge team, as well as winning 15 international caps and appearing in the 2013 World Cup final.

He said: "I've achieved everything that I can in my career in the NRL and, whilst still in my prime as a prop-forward, want to experience the challenge of Super League."
