Well , a lot of them are playing elsewhere Wood Chips. Not sure it’s all the local juniors who are the useless ones in the team this year though.
When many were saying who would come last this season, before the season started . I also said it could be Penrith.
When Phil has let 20 something first graders go over the last couple of years . To hardly replace any of them at all. I’ve been the biggest critic of Phils policy of letting so many go before last season & this one.
Let a good Fijian try scorer go , who should be on the wing, to re sign Mansour who’s slow. Kept Whare , who’s slow.
Edwards has been as bad as anyone. He was really coming on well early last year , before injury. Has come back as a totally different & incompetent fullback this year.
Where as Aetkins has played well in the Canterbury Cup. Just about time to give him the fullback spot.
I wondered why so called experts such as Sterling said they could be Premiers this year? I didn’t see it with the first grade squad they’ve kept & was surprised that they did as well as they did last season.
When it came to the playing against the best forward packs last season, Penrith was trampled under by Cronulla ( twice ), Brisbane, Melbourne & your Nuggets.
I think some players such as Saun Blore ,Brian Too & Aetkins should be given first grade spots before the end of this season. Which now only looks like a year of trying to avoid the Spoon. Plus looking to next year.

Apparently Gould didn’t want Cleary to return to the Panthers but the CEO and Board pushed to sign Cleary because of one reason and that reason is they didn’t want to lose N Cleary. Gould and Cleary don’t communicate at the Club they haven’t spoken since Cleary arrived. Maybe a word here and there but Gould isn’t happy. lol you reap what you sew but yes like it was mentioned it’s just round 3.
