The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have confirmed the signature of back-rower Corey Harawira-Naera on a long-term deal.

Harawira-Naera joins the Dogs on a four-year contract, after 44 appearances for Penrith over the past two seasons.

The 23-year-old has 13 tries to his name, and has been a mainstay in the Panthers' line-up since making his debut in Round 4, 2017.

Canterbury Chief Executive Andrew Hill spoke to the club's website about the signing, and said he was thrilled to add the forward to the 2019 roster.

"Signing someone of Corey's calibre and potential is a great coup for the Bulldogs and comes on the back of a strong finish to our 2018 season," Hill told bulldogs.com.au.

"Dean Pay and his coaching staff have helped develop some talented young players this year and the addition of Corey to the squad will add both quality and strength to our forward pack for next season and beyond."
