Mitch Moses will lineup for the Wests Tigers again, the Melbourne Storm will get a firsthand look at potential recruit Kieran Foran and Jarryd Hayne has been named but will he play?

Checkout out all the previews and predictions ahead of Round 8 of the 2017 NRL Premiership! Who are you tipping to win this week?

Canberra Raiders v Manly Sea Eagles

Friday Night, GIO Stadium

Canberra has shown their offensive and defensive prowess in back to back weeks and will look for that to come together this week as they host a Manly side who haven't lost on the road so far this season.

The Sea Eagles came up short against the Storm last week but showed their fighting qualities after trailing 18-0 and 30-12 at different times in the match.

Trent Barrett's left side defence was badly exposed last week and there's no doubting Ricky Stuart would've taken note of that. They conceded all six tries down that side and as they come up against the second-hottest offense in the league, that could mean a long night is in store for the Sea Eagles.

The Trbojevic brothers were everywhere last week and will need to be again if Manly are to remain undefeated away from home.

For Canberra, Joseph Leilua and Jordan Rapana will be looking to exploit Manly's weak defensive line with their ability to create something from nothing.

Manly has won five of the last six matches at GIO stadium, a run that we think will turn into five from seven come Friday night.

South Sydney Rabbitohs v Brisbane Broncos

Friday Night, ANZ Stadium

The Rabbitohs are struggling having lost three of their last four matches and run into a Broncos side seeking to extend their consecutive win streak to three with a win on Friday night.

Sam Burgess escaped suspension after winning his case at the judiciary on Tuesday night in a major boost for the Redfern club. He's without a doubt the barometer for Michael Maguire's men, both emotionally and physically, as Souths need to find some assistance for Adam Reynolds, who has been in eye-catching form in the opening part of the season.

The Broncos were far from convincing last week against the Titans however Kodi Nikorima's inclusion for the injured Ben Hunt got Broncos fans out of their seats as he and Anthony Milford eventually razzled and dazzled their way to victory.

Their elusiveness in the offensive line makes them both so exciting to watch however it'll be on the defensive end that Wayne Bennett will be searching for more consistency.

The Broncos have scored 30 points or more in each of their last three matches against Souths, and while they may not reach that figure this week, they'll still win quite comfortably.

Parramatta Eels v Penrith Panthers

Saturday Afternoon, ANZ Stadium

The battle for Sydney's west takes place on Saturday afternoon however for both teams, much more will be up for grabs than just territorial bragging rights.

Penrith and Parramatta and just two and three wins respectively with both desperate to stay in touch with the top sides in the competition.

For Penrith, their offense in recent weeks has been a far cry from their flashy brilliance that we saw in 2016 with that coming to a halt last weekend as they tried to run around instead of through the Cronulla line.

They're at their best when they're throwing the ball around and forcing the opposition defence to back peddle, something they'll want to get back to this weekend.

Kirisome Auva'a performance last week was simply nothing short of dominant and they'll need something similar from him and Michael Jennings - who busted a combined 14 tackles - if they are to upset the more fancied Panthers.

This Penrith team is far too good to be where they are on the ladder, so look for them to bounce back this week.

North Queensland Cowboys v Newcastle Knights

Saturday Night, 1300SMILES Stadium

One story came out of the Cowboys game last weekend and boy wasn't it a big one (literally).

104kg forward John Asiata was quite simply amazing as he slotted into the halfback role vacated by Johnathan Thurston and even though their first half defence was undoubtedly a worry, their second half fightback would've pleased coach Paul Green.

The Knights, on the other hand, were outclassed last week against the Roosters and despite results not going their way so far this season, they'll be looking for more consistency in their effort as we move into the middle part of the season.

The Cowboys 50% home record should give the Knights some hope as they head up north and while Asiata was good last week, he's not JT. They should also be looking to expose Antonio Winterstein, who might be a little rusty having missed the last month through injury.

The Cowboys need to win to ensure they don't lose pace with the top four as we inch closer to the Origin period and they should get the points this weekend.

Cronulla Sharks v Gold Coast Titans

Saturday Night, Southern Cross Stadium

Cronulla hasn't conceded a try for the last 169 minutes of game time. Let that sink in.

Their premiership defence is well and truly back and they were clinical on both ends last week as they put the Penrith Panthers back in their place.

The Titans come off a heart-breaking loss against the Broncos last week and came away from the game with more injuries. Their fans have a lot to smile about as there is certainly no shortage of effort from a team getting pieced together each week by coach Neil Henry.

They could be buoyed by the return of Kevin Proctor, Jarryd Hayne and Konrad Hurrell who've all been named on an extended bench. While their defence continues to leak points, they have no problem finding the try line themselves which gives them the ability to trouble this stingy Cronulla defence.

In saying that, Cronulla will want to improve their 1-2 home record this season and should do so this weekend.

Wests Tigers v Canterbury Bulldogs

Sunday Afternoon, ANZ Stadium

Wests Tigers look a rejuvenated side under new coach Ivan Cleary and despite their loss last week, there's a bounce in their step for the first time in a while.

They could welcome back halfback Luke Brooks as Mitchell Moses and James Tedesco have both shown why they're such highly touted players in the halfback's absence.

They run into a Bulldogs side who've had the wood over them in recent times, chalking up nine wins in their past 11 meetings.

Josh Reynolds was a class above in their win over Souths last week and will be looking to keep that form going as the Dogs look to win their fourth game on the trot.

The Tigers fragile defensive line is something Des Hasler will no doubt be analysing this week as David Klemmer returns for the blue and white men.

Who wins?

While the Tigers have improved in the fortnight since hiring Ivan Cleary, a lot of questions still surround the club and it seems they've run into the Bulldogs at the wrong time as they've hit a nice groove after a slow start to the year.

Sydney Roosters v St George Illawarra Dragons

Tuesday Afternoon, Allianz Stadium

Anzac Day festivities kick off at the Allianz as the Roosters, who ended their two game skid last week with a win over Newcastle, host the top of the table Dragons.

Latrell Mitchell is no certainty to return after being 'rested' last week while Dylan Napa is a chance to come into the 17 come Tuesday.

Defensively, they were sound last week after a slopping showing against the Broncos and will need to repeat those efforts if they are to curb the high-flying Dragons led by English star Gareth Widdop.

The Dragons put on a clinic in the first half against the Cowboys last week and despite conceding points in quick succession in the second stanza, there's no questioning who owns the NRL's most potent offense right now.

The Roosters will have to stop a rejuvenated Tim Lafai after he nabbed a double last week in the first half procession.

Paul Vaughan was brilliant again as were Tyson Frizell and Joel Thompson as they continue to march the Dragons into good field position.

This is without a doubt the game of the round, one that's extremely hard to pick.

Sydney are the favourites with the bookies but we reckon the Dragons can continue their dream start to 2017.

Melbourne Storm v New Zealand Warriors

Tuesday Night, AAMI Park

Round eight concludes south of the border as the Storm host the Warriors in their traditional Anzac Day clash.

The Storm come off an uncharacteristic performance which saw them score six first half tries to none in the second half while giving up 26 points against a Manly side that found it a little too easy to cross the Storm's defensive line.

Craig Bellamy will no doubt be working to improve their league-leading defence and will get the assistance of Will Chambers to do so as he comes back in from suspension.

Billy Slater produced his best performance since returning from injury as he conjured up three try assists and a crucial try-saving tackle - something that will have all Storm fans smiling.

The Warriors were held to just eight points in their loss to the Raiders and Keiran Foran will want to steer his side to a few more points this weekend in a potential audition for his next employer.

The Storm have been linked with Foran for next season and was endorsed by Slater in the media last week.

In round two, the Storm got the 26-10 win in pouring rain but the Warriors are a far different side from then. The Warriors are 0-3 on the road this season and will need Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to continue his good run of form if they're to cause an upset on the premiership favourites.
