The search is over. The man to lead to the Titans' revival appears to be Justin Holbrook as the former Knights, Panthers and Roosters playmaker is set to be announced on Tuesday as Gold Coast's head coach.

Currently, St Helen's sit 10 points clear atop of the Super League in the UK and the impressive coaching record by the Australian native appears to have won him the job.

He has been building his Saints squad into a dominant force with NRL stars such as Ben Barba passing through over the past few years. But now as unbackable favourites for the Super League and loved by the fans, Holbrook will agree to a long-term deal with the Titans, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

He has edged out a few names for the position including Maroons' Origin coach Kevin Walters. It's believed his assistants will be David Furner and Tony Iro.

Furner has experience in the NRL with the Raiders as well as Iro looking after different roles at the Warriors over a number of years.

So, the new-look coaching team will have a successful background and experience coming into the 2020 season for the struggling Titans.
