Mason Lino is attracting interest from the Newcastle Knights.
Lino is contracted to New Zealand Warriors next season but has been granted permission to talk to other clubs.
Lino isn't the only Warrior to attract the attention of the Knights, as Issac Luke could also be headed to Newcastle in 2019.
Reports claim the Knights have offered a two-year deal to Lino, who is coming off the best season of his career.
The Samoan international made eight appearances in the NRL this season, filling in for either Shaun Johnson or Blake Green in the halves.
Lino is held in high regard at the Warriors but has been allowed to talk to other clubs as he looks to secure his future.
"Mason's looking at his future and our position is that he's got another year to go with us and at this stage we're not looking further in terms of where we are at right now," Warriors chief executive Cameron George told Stuff.
"He's been so great for the club. Even though we're happy for him to have a chat with other clubs he's a terrific kid.
"At this point in time there's no decision to be made, he's simply been allowed to talk to other clubs if he wants to and see what interest is out there."
With Johnson and Green starting in the six and seven jerseys at the Warriors, Lino may have more opportunities at the Knights as they look for a regular partner for Mitchell Pearce.
