Brisbane forward Joe Ofahengaue is facing a five-week ban following an ugly spear tackle on Gold Coast forward Max King in the Broncos big win over the Titans.
Ofahengaue has been charged with a grade-three dangerous throw from the incident.
An early guilty plea will see the 21-year-old only serve a three-game suspension.
If the Broncos decide to challenge the charge at the judiciary and are unsuccessful though, Ofahengaue will cop a five match suspension.
