Hull KR chairman Neil Hudgell has refused to comment on reports linking the Robins with former NRL grand final winner Scott Prince.

Rumours have emerged Down Under that the former half-back is considering coming out of retirement to play for KR.

The 36-year-old last played a match in 2013 with Brisbane Broncos but has strong ties with incoming Rovers coach Tim Sheens when the pair won the NRL Premiership with Wests Tigers in 2005.

Prince is well-known to fans in the city, with Hull FC coming close to signing the Queenslander in 2012, only for the deal to fall through at the final hurdle as the playmaker joined Brisbane instead.
