Tepai Moeroa

Young gun re-signs with the Eels

The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce second-rower Tepai Moeroa has re-signed with the club for an additional three seasons.

A local junior and an Australian Schoolboy representative in both rugby league and union, 18-year-old Moeroa will proudly pull on the Blue and Gold jersey until at least the end of 2017.

“I’ve always played for Parramatta, and it never really crossed my mind to leave,” Tepai said.

“The group of boys here is really great and it’s like family, and Brad [Arthur] has helped me become a better player, so I’m looking forward to the next three years.”

“Tepai is obviously a very talented player, but to make his first grade debut at just 18 also shows a lot of dedication and hard work,” Parramatta Head Coach Brad Arthur said.
