Steve Michaels
Re-signed on three-year deal

The Gold Coast Titans have retained two Gold Coast juniors for the future, with centre Steve Michaels and playmaker Jordan Rankin today re-signing with the club.

Mudgeeraba Redbacks junior Michaels, 24, has signed a new three-year contract until the end of the 2015 season, while Burleigh Bears junior and Under-20s graduate Rankin, 20, has agreed to a new two-year contract for seasons 2013-14.

The retention of the pair ensures the majority of the class of 2012 will remain together for next season and beyond with the addition of high-profile signing David Taylor from 2013.

Titans Coach John Cartwright said he was pleased to have two Gold Coast juniors staying with the club.
