Titans coach Neil Henry claims the club will not lure Jarryd Hayne to the Gold Coast unless it is sure it has the players around him to launch an immediate assault on the premiership.
News that the Titans are interested in Hayne’s 2017 movements was met with mixed reactions from fans on social media but Henry was sure he was a talent worth looking at.
“Fantastic athlete, great profile, would bring a lot of interest to the club … certainly a player of his calibre would be a drawcard,” said Henry, who confirmed there had been some initial discussions with Hayne’s management.
