The Titans have confirmed the importance of to their program as speculation continues about the half’s future on the Gold Coast.

Roberts has conceded ­constant speculation about his future is “annoying’’ as he ­attempts to focus on the club’s crucial clash against the ­Cowboys in Townsville.

The former Newcastle playmaker is contracted until the end of 2017 but the rapid rise of rookie Ash Taylor and return from injury of Kane Elgey next season has rival clubs hunting Roberts, who has proved more than capable of playing a ­leading role in the halves.
