1. Matt Dufty (Dragons)

Had his best game in first grade to date, scoring a hattrick, setting up another and running for a combined total of 200 metres.

2. Jamayne Isaako (Broncos)

They’re calling him Jamayne Ice-aako in Brisbane this week after the rookie winger kicked the Broncos to victory in his sides 9-7 drubbing over the Wests Tigers. Isaako scored every point for his club; kicking four goals and a field goal.

3. Tim Lafai (Dragons)

Another Dragon who scored a hattrick in the 54-8 demolition of the Gold Coast Titans. Much like his teammate Dufty, managed to set up a try of his own while also running for over 100 run metres.

4. Josh Morris (Bulldogs)

Had his best game in years against the Panthers. Scored a try and ran for over 200 run metres.

5. Robert Jennings (Rabbitohs)

Scored his first hattrick in his first-grade career in a performance which saw the younger brother of Michael Jennings almost snag the man of the match honours. Ran for over 200 metres and recorded three line-breaks.

6. Gareth Widdop (Dragons)

Everything Widdop touched against the Titans turned to Gold (pun definitely not intended). Recorded a whopping five try-assists, scored 22 of the Titans 54 points and made two line-breaks in what was arguably the best performance of his career.

7. Shaun Johnson (Warriors)

His two field goals got the Warriors home in the end. Johnson’s kicking game was also on point with the club recording their first three wins in a row to open a season since the clubs’ inception in 1995.

8. Andrew Fifita (Sharks)

After a slow start to the season, Fifita put in his best performance of the season for the Shire in his club’s 10-point victory over the Parramatta Eels. Ran for 180 metres and proved to be a valuable source of Cronulla’s second phase play with five offloads.

9. Issac Luke (Warriors)

It’s great to see Isaac Luke back to his best after two lacklustre seasons. Scored a try and recorded 40 tackles in New Zealand’s 20-19 victory over the Canberra Raiders.

10. Sam Burgess (Rabbitohs)

The positional switch to the front row proved wonders for both Sam Burgess and the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Ran for 170 metres, recorded 30 tackles and managed three offloads in a 70-minute performance.

11. Tohu Harris (Warriors)

Tohu Harris becomes the only player to make this list for a third week in a row. Was fantastic once again for his new club, scoring a try, managing five tackle breaks, 29 tackles and 130 run metres.

12. Coen Hess (Cowboys)

Single handily kept North Queensland in the contest until the floodgates opened in the final 10 minutes. Scored both of the Cowboys tries, made three line-breaks, ran for over 150 metres and broke through a mammoth 10 tackles.

13. Josh McGuire (Broncos)

Another player who has hit form after a slow start to the season. Showed why he’s one of the best lock forwards in the game against the Wests Tigers. Ran for 176 metres and recorded 37 tackles.
