He has played three different positions this year and been entrusted with playing a crucial role in saving the Gold Coast’s season but versatile utility Brad Takairangi could be looking for a new club in 2015.
Takairangi is in talks with two Sydney clubs while Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy tried to lure him south when the Sydney Roosters agreed to release him before the start of last season.
Takairangi said his manager Chris Orr was in negotiations with Gold Coast Titans football director Michael Searle and coach John Cartwright and he hoped to have his future sorted soon.
The Titans have little room to move in their 2015 salary cap after re-signing and upgrading the likes of Kevin Gordon, Matt Srama, Ryan James and Anthony Don this year.
