Melbourne Storm have today secured the signatures of hard working back rowers Ryan Hinchcliffe and Kevin Proctor, further evidence that their forward thinking, back to business approach continues.
Both players were key retention priorities for the club, with Hinchcliffe winning the 2010 Storm player of the year and Proctor progressing quickly through the Storm system to cement a regular spot in Head Coach Craig Bellamy’s top squad.
Hinchcliffe, 26, has enjoyed an outstanding year both on and off the field, capped off by the announcement of a new two year contract.
Proctor, 22, has been part of the Storm system since 2008 after joining the club straight from school. This contract extension will take him through until the end of 2014, making it seven years in Melbourne Storm colours at the tender age of only 25.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy was equally delighted about the re-signings, confirming they are an integral part of Melbourne Storm’s future planning and key players in his current playing group.
