Nathan Stapleton

Nathan Stapleton is enjoying his time at the Sydney Roosters but wants to set the record straight. He has not signed a contract with French rugby union in 2015.

“There was only ever interest there, early on,” Stapleton said speaking to Zero Tackle.

“I have not signed anything, which leaves my options here in Australia.”

Recruited by the Roosters mid-season as cover following the departure of Tautau Moga, Stapleton has played 61 NRL matches since making his debut for the Cronulla Sharks in 2009 and scored 17 tries.

“Really enjoying my football at the Roosters. Just really focussing on playing well for them, enjoying the change and the culture. But at this stage, options are open for the 2015 season.”
