Highly-rated 21-year-old five-eighth Samisoni Langi is still on the Sydney Roosters’ books and has played three NRL games for the club over the past two seasons.

But with his pathway to the NRL blocked by the likes of James Maloney and Mitchell Pearce, with Langi considering a move to the shire.

The five-eighth in the 2013 NYC Team of the Year in 2013, Langi is is a real talent – and the Roosters are reluctant to let him go.

But the club may relent – especially if the Cronulla Sharks come knocking.
