Cronulla Sharks NRL centre Dean Collis will join Super League club Wakefield from next season after a three-year deal with the club was confirmed on Friday.
The 25-year-old, who has spent two seasons with the Sharks following an earlier stint with Wests Tigers, is the first signing of new Wildcats coach Richard Agar.
“I’m really happy to have signed at Wakefield and be playing in Super League,” said Collis.
“I’m excited for the new challenge and I just can’t wait to get over there. I’m looking forward to being a part of something new at the club and I hope I can prove myself to the club and its spectators.”
