Current rumour doing the rounds is that Tim Smith is set to sign with English Super League team Hull FC next year.
Smith has already spent time in England playing for the Wigan Warriors in the 2008/09 seasons before a shoulder injury ended his season early. He then returned to Australia and started looking for an NRL side to sign with.
After doing pre-season training with the Brisbane Broncos, he later signed with the Cronulla Sharks and is still contracted to them for the remainder of this season.
The signing of Wade Graham and the emergence of Albert Kelly though, coupled with inconsistent and subpar performances, has seen Smith stuck in NSW Cup for 2011.
A move to the ESL might be his only option for another rugby league contract.
