  1. As much as I love the beast, The Warriors need to drop Vatuvei, his ball handling skills almost kill me every game and I’ve been a hearty Warriors fan since day 1. McFadden needs to go too much heart not enough mongrel. Gavet is the teams best buy IMO.

  2. Is Hurrell injured…? If not being played he must be on the move. Come to South Sydney would be a great addition to the bunnies backline.

  3. Bulldogs

Very strong vs manly and panthers look to have struggled.

    Broncos

Losing to the tigers as gotta kill all hope for you this year lol

    Roosters

    Raiders without star playmakers.

    Rabbitohs

    Should out class knights

    Cowboys

    In a close one.

    Sharks

    another close one

    Titans

    Dark horse for this one

    Manly

    DCE needs to step up

  4. Big game vs warriors be good to watch the boys again this game will have everything broncs by 8

  5. I’m not a nrl coach but don’t know if McFadden should be either , he cannot pick a Lineup , should be more like
    1. Rts
    2. Manu
    3. Hurrell
    4. Kata
    5. Fusitua/mamaulo
    6. Lolohea
    7. Johnson
    8. Matulino
    9. Luke
    10. Lillyman
    11. Thompson
    12. Hoffman
    13. Mannering

    Vete
    Lisone
    Gubb
    Gavet
    Mariner
    Lousi
    (Pick 4 )

    • Lolohea is alright in the halves, but he’s just not ready to play there full time, plus he isn’t the best foil for Johnson in terms of the style he plays.
Hurrell is welcome to take the centre spot when he starts taking things seriously and works on his defense. Fusitua and Maumalo are great on their day, but again their defense is just not there yet.
I definitely see the merit in all these players, but I can see why Cappy has made all the choices that he has.

      • You can have lolohea and Johnson , you don’t always need this one structured half and one free one , if teams can play with 2 structured then teams can do 2 free and warriors would be the first to pull it off and lolohea is a half on the wing so fusitua or mamaulo wouldn’t be worse , I guess we’ll just have to see how they go and see who ends up right hahaa

    • Not a good team at all. Kata and hurrel are not good centres. Do you guys even watch these games?? U to smashembro no idea. Defence is the name of the game, doesn’t matter if u score 10 tries a season if ur letting 20 in.

        • Mate Ayshford and Lolohea’s edge was bloody good in the weekend. Jono wright is a reserve grader. Id have hurrel over kata. Fully fit I’d go 2. Fusitua 3.Ayshford 4. Lolohea. With Fusitua injured I’d go 2. Lolohea 3.Ayshford 4.Hurrel

        • Lolohea is the biggest waste in the backs , he good there but even better in the halves , you think Robson is better there , he looked like he was 50 years old and couldn’t get a tackle on first connection once , like I said In the end we’ll see who’s right and if it’s you that’s fine as long as they are getting the job done

  6. Yay kata at centre again. God him and manus edge was feeble on Saturday. Don’t drop the beast he just needs a competent defensive centre inside him.

  7. Dragons will bounce back strongly after last nights loss to the storm. That is a banker.

  8. Dogs
    Broncos
    Raiders
    Rabbits
    Cowboys
    Sharks
    Storm
    Tigers

Struggled to pick tigers over Manly without seeing Manlys lineup, if it’s the same team as last week tigers win, if Stewart, Lawrence, Knights and starling are picked then Manly should hopefullyget the win

    Only got 4/8 last week

  9. Bulldogs
    Broncos
    Raiders (Close)
    Rabbitohs
    Cowboys
    Sharks
    Storm
Manly (Tigers if we pick the same list as last week).

      • Lussick- Brenton Lawrence
        Leary- Liam Knight
        Williame- Brett Stewart

These are my opinions but Lussick will be in NSW cup and Lawrence in and Stewart to return.

  10. Can someone complain about “why do you post this when only Warriors have uploaded their team.”
It just isn’t Tuesday without this complaint.

    • excellent news. I’d probably have lussick instead of green. any news about knight.
I think Barrett opted to leave Lawrence out against the dogs due to his recovery from injury.

  11. The Warriors are a couple of hours ahead of us in time s they post their team. What ZT should do is wait for all teams to post their teams before putting them up on this site.

I don’t know why but Souths are always one of the last to do so. As a member I get an email with the team announcement before they post it.

  12. As long as Jono Wright isn’t in the team I’m happy. The favours he must be doing for cappy….. They should really play Konnie though.

  13. Anyone know why Zane Musgrove is not listed , he had a blinder last week so i am guessing he is injured .

    • Musgrove injured his wrist and will have surgery . another super coach cheapie gone. He played good too. Carter will be there for awhile he’s a solid player.

    • Ok so just read Zane Musgrove has a broken wrist – wow thats a shame he played strong against the Chooks , gee some key injuries to start the season for the bunnies .

      • I wouldn’t say musgrove is a key injury but man he did play good footy, he will definitely be a mainstay in the Rabbitohs side this year when not injured! Like the way he plays footy, 100 miles an hour in defence and attack..

    • yes blackrabbit zane fractured his wrist last sunday at the backend of the game he has gone in for surgery and will be out for 12 weeks

  14. naaaah no Stewart and that piece of fecal matter williame is in there. fffffkkkkk
    Jake to lock is good.

  15. Bulldogs (very strong last week)
Broncos (depends which Warriors side turns up)
    Raiders (very close one)
    Souths
    Cowboys (close one)
    Sharks (close one)
    Storm
Tigers (only just, but if a good Manly side turn up, they should get the points)

    • Bulldogs
Broncos (Not sure about this one, Broncs heading for a fall and there could be a warriors backlash after last week)
      Roosters
      Souths
      Cowboys
      Dragons (20+)
Storm (Tight one but Storm should bounce back in fear of another Bellamy spray)
      Tigers

      • I can agree with these tips. The Warriors are a good chance if they turn up. Raiders vs Roosters can go either way, and I forgot Sezer and Austin are injured, so the Roosters could only just win, especially so they can bounce back from Sunday. The Sharks will win by 4 points or something, very close one I think. The Storm will be clinical as usual, because they don’t want Bellamy to lose his sh*t again. The Dragons should have had the win last night I reckon.

  16. Does any roosters fan know what happened to that winger last year Branden Elliot? I haven’t even seen his name in discussion. He did a really good job at the back end of last season as well as being a great finisher.

  17. Is Luke brookes due back next week?
Mitchell fired on all cylinders by himself imagine when his mate comes back…..Matty johns said Luke is gonna have a big one this year…if he’s back then they should give manly a good run

  18. Dogs V Panthers: Dogs – Strong showing last week and cant see Panthers winning this one.

Warriors V Broncos: Broncos – Again can’t see Warriors winning this one, but who can really predict a Warriors game.

Raiders V Roosters: No Sezer, No Austin? No hope. Roosters for this one. The only reason Raiders looked good was because of the two players not named.

Rabbits V Knights: Rabbits – I would like to see Knights winwin and they are in for a chance with the players Rabbits have out but their rookies won’t match the pack that South’s have.

Sharks V Dragons: Sharks – This is probably the closest match of the round. But Sharks will win.

Storm V Titans: Storm – 2 key reasons, Storms are better and Titans well they are the Titans.

Tigers V Manly: Tigers – Manly player half as bad as they did against the dogs, they will still lose. They really need to improve their attack if they are to have any chancechance this season.

    **BIASED ALERT**

Cowboys V Eels: Eels – Because I support them and I will tip them anyway.

    • Needs to improve his defence. I hear trex wont be redigned and lane will take over fulltime next year if his development continues, Plus adam elliot isway better lol

    • Reports coming out of Newcastle is that he on the nose with Brown. No idea of the reason, maybe he came into the pre-season overweight.

  19. A few surprises Kirisome Auva’a 18th man as is Sione Mata’utia… Im glad Latrell gets another shot though he needs to get quality ball. I cant believe Isaac Liu is starting again. Taukeiahou was far better and Moa was our best forward. I think Manly have taken a step in the right direction with Jake T at lock hes really the leader of the pack at only 21 so he could become the best forward in the game one day. Hes probably the most mobile of himself, Myles and Taupau aswell if i were Barrett id drop Nathan Green for Liam Knight

  20. News Just In

5 former sharks players who did not accept the backdated bans under the ASADA affair have been issued with infringement notices.

      • What has got up your nose ?

I give you a bit of news and you give me the verbals.

If there are any fools round here my friend, it is you.

  21. The biggest tip is that if Barrett continues with Green,Brown,Williame at the expense of Symonds,Leary and Lawrence than he will firm in ahead of Jason Taylor and Andrew
McFadden as the first coach sacked in 2016…Counting the days when Jamie Buhrer returns which is going to create a bigger dilemma for Barrett…really has lost that Manly feel about the place..bring back Tooves or warm up Ivan!

  22. panthers field goal
    raiders by 6
    south by 2
    storm 13+
    dragons field goal
    Cowboys by 12
    warriors by 12
    manly by 4

    • Brisbane at home should get the job done. Mind you knowing the Warriors they could win by 40…or lose by 50.

    • Eh I don’t see the Panthers winning by a field goal tbh. If the Dogs play like how they did last week, then it will be another big victory. If they don’t turn up then they could possibly be in trouble. Warriors will only win if they turn up though and actually play with intensity.

  23. Dogs by 16
    Warriors by 4
    Roosters by 12
    Bunnies by 26
    Cowboys by 8
    Dragons by 6
    Storm by 18
    Tigers by 12

Even with Norman and Foran in the side I just can’t see us getting over the top of the Cowboys.

    • interesting isn’t it. I would of gone with Lawrence but having Jake at lock could be a great move so probably easing Lawrence back into 1st grade.

    • Starling is tough as nails and is fit.
He had a great 2014 and a terrible 2015 due to injury. I expect him to play very well against the Tigers. Always been a fan of his tough, no nonsense style of play.

  24. Bulldogs by 14
    Broncos by 20
    Roosters by 6
    Souths by 10
    Cowboys in golden point thriller
    Sharks by 2
    Storm by 12
    Tigers by 8

  25. Dogs ( obviously )
    Broncos
    Roosters
    Rabitoes
    Eels
    Sharks
    Storm
    Eagles

    Put the mortgage on it…

    • It is just that rivalry brother, you know how it is haha the old saying is I support parra and anyone playing manly!!

    • If it makes you feel better manlytheprideoftheleague I not only tipped against Manly but I also Tipped against Parra.

  26. Bulldogs by 2
    Broncos by 40
    Roosters by 4
    Souths by 26
    Cowboys by 4
    Sharks by 1
    Storm by 30
    Tigers by 12

    • broncos by 40. interesting… could be the other way round. tigers by 12 I hope nots

  27. MATE MA’A TONGA 2016

    1. Solomone Kata
    2. Jorge Taufua
    3. David Fusitu’a
    4. Konrad Hurrell
    5. Delouise Hoeta
    6. Samisoni Langi
    7. Daniel Foster
    8. Albert Vete
    9. Siliva Havili
    10. Agnatius Pa’asi
    11. Manu Ma’u
    12. Tony Williams
    13. Feleti Mateo

    14. Nafe Seluini
    15. Peni Terepo
    16. Felise Kaufusi
    17. David Fifita

    18. Leilani Latu

  28. Seems most are tipping the Dogs now.
What ever happened to the new interchange rule will destroy the Dogs ???
I believe most of you also predicted the Dogs NOT to make the top 8.
I said it then and I’ll say it now, never underestimate the DOGS of WAR, haha.

    • In fairness, you’re playing the Panthers, and most people were/are predicting the Panthers to miss the 8, and could go bottom 4. That said, I was surprised how strong the Doggies were on Friday, and I’m rethinking their chances of making the 8. I’m looking forward to round 3, should be a cracker.

  29. Can’t wait for the ol rivals to go for it in R3 either bro, hopefully both sides can fair near full strength teams. Either way should be a cracker all right.
Dogs will make the 8, we have a habit of playing finals come that time of year. Would be foolish to think otherwise.
Thank god the season is in full flight now..
    #bantheoffseason. Lol

  30. Rd 2:
    Bulldogs by 14
    Warriors by 8
    Raiders by 10 (32 to 22)
    Rabbits by 28
    Cowboys by 8
    Sharks by 4
    Storm by 14
    Sea Eagles by 2

  31. Oates vs manu should be a good match up.Oates is to good to be a winger or even 2nd row imagine him in the halves. Everyone creamed over Suttons size oates has great hands. Hunt will be getting better so roberts should be good. I just dont see us losing unless they get lucky with kicks.

  32. Will the Brayden Williame curse continue for Manly?

(my apologies to Tony Santini, I thought he had the curse)

I think what Manly have been missing is a ball-playing 2nd row/lock like Glenn Stewart was. It gave them that extra spark in attack, and I think Mateo can fill in there. I heard he went well in the NSW Cup game, I would have him either in place of Brown, and Lewis on the bench, or benched instead of Green.

The old attack was Left side would run straight n hard (Taufua, Matai, Horo, Foran) and the right was all class (DCE, G.Stewart, Lyon and X).

Lets hope Dylan Walker can step up this game.

  33. I fail to understand the Supercoach scoring logic. I realize that it’s based on individual performance but is there anywhere I can see what the points are being given for e.g. a linebreak might be worth 5, linebreak assist worth 3 etc?

How does J Hastings score 70 in the biggest defeat of the weekend and A Taylor only score 36 in a fairly convincing win?

  34. i’ve gone different this week
Bulldogs – Panthers without a few key players
Broncos – Warriors are unpredictable but broncos should win
Roosters – Raiders with Austin and Sezer already
Knights – Bunnies have no Reynolds and Sutton
Eels – Foran could change the game, close one
Sharks – A team that have the quality
Storm – Titans looked good but Storm are at home
Tigers – Play free football could be dangerous against out of form Manly

  35. i’ve gone different this week
Bulldogs – Panthers without a few key players
Broncos – Warriors are unpredictable but broncos should win
Roosters – Raiders without Austin and Sezer already
Knights – Bunnies have no Reynolds and Sutton

    • If the reported figure you landed him on is true you are more than welcome to him as he is nowhere near worth that much.
Plenty of top quality forwards on the market for next year and with the loss of junior and Watmoughs impending retirement we will have the cash.
I would chase one of these four but to be honest I can’t see any of them leaving their current clubs.
      Bromwich
      Klemmer
      Tamou
      Moa
Any of these four would be a perfect replacement for junior.
Also if junior has signed I would send him to NSW cup and bring up one of the young blokes we have and give them some 1st grade experience. Would probably give young Alex Twal a shot. No point in continuing juniors development when he is going to ply his trade somewhere else next season.

      • The figure from James Hooper is 450k + 50K TPA. Not the rubbish 750k he is rumoured to be coming on.
        Seems fine to me.

  36. Gburgess
    Mciness
    Tyrell
    carter
    turner
    Sburgess
That’s a great well balanced pack!
    Power,aggression,panache and mobile.
    Kind regards,
    THEGREATONE

  37. Dugan still at centre/wing or whatever he was playing. Looked like Centre in attack and Wing in defence. Whatever it was didn’t suit him though. Showed his lack of lateral movement getting beaten on the outside easy, and he provided nothing in general.
Still don’t see the point in moving one of the most dangerous fullbacks away from the ball, especially when he’s not a superstar centre.

  38. Anthony Griffin starting Cartwright on the bench come on mate thats just selfish and bad for my supercoach team

  39. Round 2 Tips
Bulldogs:They will will go out all guns blazing 1st half, string out a few tries and then slack off a bit 2nd half but still be able to win
Broncos:Dominant last week, gonna take warriors gonna put a fight but it’ll be too hard to win the Broncs in Suncorp
Raiders:They will continue form at home, get a nailbiting win, really think the chooks are gonna have hard time this year
Rabbits:Pretty straightforward, they’re gonna blow them off the park like they did to the chooks
Cowboys:Be hard but they will win close
    Sharks:Gonna get a good win
    Storms:They’ll win comfortably,13+
Manly:If our boys turn last week we’ll be able to fight, tigers gonna give us a hard night but we’ll get there in there end, very scrappy win though.

  40. refs helping dogs big time that ball was touched by a dog’s player yet it goes to the 20 and now they score lol ah the nrl worldwide sporting joke still. plus 3 penalties out of there own half keep it fair and let the teams decide

    • Yeah it was a little forward but so have few others from both teams do the desision to not rule on it while wrong was atleast consistant. So I’m happy with it

  41. called it but really the refs kept them in the game. mybe had some nice plays there good game. Reynolds very tough to stay out there. tough luck pennies Wallace should of passed instead of running

  42. You have gotta laugh !

I have just been reading the Telegraph’s expert tips for this round. They are listed in order of the experts performances so far. Bottom of the list is that famous Sharks loving pain in the neck Buzz Lightfoot on 2 out of eight.

Most of his colleagues higher up the ladder are backing the Dragons with one or two foolishly backing the sharks but they are all saying it will be a close one but Buzz has got the sharks down as his runaway banker for the round….. and he wonders why he is bottom of the heap.

  43. Two things to come out of that game.
    1. Yes the Bunker is getting things right but the on field refs are still making as many mistakes as ever.
    2. Jamie Soward is a little bitch.

  44. what as game to be screwed over in ..the panthers were much better and screwed twice !! NO TRY puppy dogs should of lost they might of got the 2 pts but panthers won the game …shows more proof why they wont make the 8 ..need help to win games .. panthers bad luck you were robbed but the puppy fans wont agree of courser there 1 eyed but its a fact ROBBED panthers .. dogs have a string of big losses coming up be prepared .. they have to win like that isn’t helping them in the big games ..believe that

    • Shut your mouth you idiot. How do the Panthers win the game if they scored less points? Last time I checked, you need to score more than your opposition to win the game you dunce.

      • Ignore this muppet the guy has no idea at all .. Won’t reveal who he goes for and looks like an idiot every time he comments
Loser and definitely has no friends
        Believe that

        • I felt like I had to reply this time. What he said was more foolish than anything else he said. We got the 2 points but lost the game. How does that work?

        • The guy is proving every week that he is brain dead and just dribbles out garbage to make himself feel better
Dogs won 2 from 2 and showed on our worst day we can still win

  45. Graham shouldn’t miss a week for that tackle, perfect technique. NRL too soft.
Stop worrying about the speed of the game and let the players play

    • He should get off. It was a nothing shoulder charge. The head or neck wasn’t hit as it was just shoulder to shoulder.

  46. How good did the team look with wallace at dummy half! Think Hook should stick with him there and Sowie at Halfback. Peachy looks an ok running 5/8 and will give a kick off the bench when Segeyaro comes back.

  47. I see the puppy fans are still the same ..WHINGERS win even if it was by cheater or lose they are never happy .. there grobblers just like there big mouth hero james pommy graham ,, I bet bankstown was happy last night they got away with a fluke win .. wonder how much they paid the video refs??? keep cheering puppy fans it will be very short lived you can take that to the bank and still not make the top 8 .. lol what a fluke win of a team every year they get away with cheap wins enjoy the victory while it lasts and stop complaining and have a good day … believe that

  48. I have to praise the hard done by beaten panthers for there effort last night , they played against a side that always gets away with cheap wins like that , but the panthers should of walked away with the 2 pts that’s a certainty , but panther fans have a lot to look forward to from that and as I had them on the fringe of the 8 this season I now have them getting in the 8 if they keep up the hard work like last night .. they were the better side and that’s a fact … believe that

    • Forrest, Forrest, Forrest. You have some serious anger management issues. Have another box of chocolates and chill out 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃

      • you must eat too many kit kats goi back to your forest and go back to sleep under the tree leave nrl alone you are non existant you talk about your forest you love so much …believe that

        • I get it now – you’re 8 years old. Or at least with the brain of an 8 year old.

Your stupid ramblings make sense now..

  49. Speak proper English before you dribble. Where were the Panthers hard done by? They lost fair and square. They played out of their skin while the Dogs played scrappy and still won. That’s the Panthers own fault for not being able to close out the game and the Dogs defending like no tomorrow. Believe that

  50. canterburybankstownbulldog4ver take the 1 blue and 1 white eye out and replace it with 1 colour and you will see it stood out like dogs balls … but puppy fans don’t see anything when it comes to there club … worry about whats ahead not your lucky escape …believe that

    • Ok buddy time for your nap
Have a snickers cause you’re stupid when you’re hungry

  51. My tips

    Dogs by 2
    Broncos by 8
    Roosters by 4
    Souths by 8
    Cowboys by 6
    Sharks by 1
    Storm by 14
    Manly by 2

  52. boy Brisbane look ordinary but how about the refs haha milford penalised for a high tackle then warriors do a worse one on kahu and no penalty smh.

    • So nice of believethis to share his pure NRL facts with us tonight. FACTS & nothing but…as usual, being the unbiased NRL insider that he is…who clearly doesn’t have a soft spot for Penrith.

Enjoy your well deserved win, Bulldogs’ fans.
