Brisbane Broncos star James Roberts has been cleared of any wrongdoing after the NRL Integrity Unit found he had no case to answer for.

Roberts was under investigation for an alleged incident which occurred at a Brisbane nightclub ten days ago.

Nine News has reported that Roberts will not have his contract terminated by the Broncos, despite strong rumours that this was the last straw for the Brisbane club.

Instead, the club is committed to helping their troubled star on a day to day basis to overcome his welfare issues.
