The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce that international hooker Issac Luke has extended his playing contract with the club until the end of the 2015 season.

Re-signing Luke has been one of the club’s major priorities, with Luke signing his contract extension this afternoon.

South Sydney were pleased that gun hooker Issac Luke had spurned interest from clubs including the Parramatta Eels to sign a four-year extension with the Rabbitohs worth nearly $1.5 million.

Luke is one of the leading lights at the South Sydney Football club as a current representative player in the New Zealand Kiwis team, and the reigning George Piggins Medallist for best and fairest at the Rabbitohs in 2010.

Luke is one of the most electrifying players in the NRL and has developed into one of the Rabbitohs Members’ favourites since making his NRL debut in 2007.
