The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed that forward Paul Carter has been suspended indefinitely for disciplinary reasons.

Early reports suggest he failed to turn up to a number of training sessions but there may have been other issues.

Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire has refused to rule out sacking the 24-year old, with his future to be decided next week.
