Pomeroy set to stay with Sharks

The Cronulla Sharks has received some much welcomed news ahead of tonight’s match with the Bulldogs with the re-signing of centre Ben Pomeroy for a further two seasons.

Sportsnewsfirst.com.au can reveal that the 27-year-old former City Origin representative is set to stay in the shire after agreeing to a deal that will tie down him down until the end 2013.

Despite attracting interest from a number of clubs, Pomeroy is settled in Cronulla has agreed to a new deal with an announcement imminent.

The centre – back rower joined the Sharks from Penrith in 2006 after spending two seasons with the Panthers.
