Nate Myles has been fined and sacked by the Sydney Roosters after he and teammates Todd Carney and Frank-Paul Nuuausala broke a team booze ban earlier this month.
The Roosters issued a two paragraph statement this evening ending Nate Myles’ five-year career at Bondi.
It read: “Following discussions with Nate Myles and his manager in relation to the recently issued breach notice, it has been determined that Nate will be fined an undisclosed sum and will continue to be excused from training and playing, as well as any other club activity under the terms of his contract.
“The club acknowledges Nate’s contribution over the past five years and wish him every success in the future.”
Myles will join Gold Coast next season, leaving behind a club still to decide on Todd Carney’s future. That decision will come after the season.
