Matt Cooper
Two-year extension

The St George Illawarra Dragons announced on Thursday that Matt Cooper has agreed to a two-year contract extension that will see him remain at the club at least until the end of 2013.

“I feel really good to have been able to extend my contract knowing now that I’ll be a Dragon for the rest of my career,” said Cooper,

“Being a one man club has always been a dream of mine, I love the club and the area and know that we will continue to be a strong club under the guidance of Steve Price from next year”.

Dragons CEO Peter Doust is pleased with the re-signing of the former Australia international and the positive role he will continue playing for the club.
