Parramatta Eels club captain tim Mannah has been cleared of any additional fracture to his shoulder blade following the Blue and Gold’s Round 9 win over the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

Mannah left the field midway through the opening forty minutes favouring his shoulder, but head Coach Brad Arthur confirmed that scans had ruled out any new fractures.

“Tim will probably miss the next game, but he’d had x-rays and there’s no re-fracture,” Arthur told Saturday Triple M NRL.

“We just need to give it a little bit longer to heal.”

Fullback Michael Gordon also left the field, with winger Clint Gutherson moving into the fullback role for the second half of the match, but Arthur says the regular number one is expected to run out against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 10.

“Flash is alright,” Arthur said.

“He’s got a cork so he’ll be alright in a fortnight.”
