Newcastle Knights have been linked to Huddersfield back-rower and Scottish International Joe Wardle.
Wardle, 24, is in his sixth season with the Giants, but is reportedly keen to move to the NRL and the Knights.
Knights coach Nathan Brown signed Wardle to Huddersfield, where he was in charge from 2009 to 2012.
Wardle, who was suspended for two weeks for a high tackle in March, is contracted until the end of 2017, but, according to reports, is hopeful of negotiating an early release.
