The St George Illawarra Dragons have today announced that former Broncos and Warriors speedster Denan Kemp has agreed to terms with the Dragons for the 2012 season.
Kemp, 24, made his NRL debut for the Brisbane in 2007 and scored 28 tries in 20 games in his opening two seasons with the Broncos. In the 2008 season Kemp was the clubs leading try scorer and was named the Broncos’ Rookie of the Year.
In April 2011, Kemp signed a contract with the Australian Rugby Union and was a part of the Australian Rugby Sevens Squad that travelled to London for the IRB Sevens.
Dragons CEO Peter Doust is pleased with the signing of Kemp and today indicated that the Club’s roster is now complete for 2012.
“Denan is keen to revive his rugby league career and we are pleased to welcome him to our Club,” said Dragons CEO Peter Doust.
“Denan is extremely fast and a great finisher who can play wing, fullback and centre. His versatility makes him a great addition to our 2012 roster and I look forward to seeing how he progresses under Head Coach Steve Price and the Dragons coaching team.”
