Hull FC stand-off Daniel Holdsworth has opened talks over his future at the club, his agent has revealed.
The 29-year-old struggled to make an impact in his first season with the Airlie Birds after he overcame persistent concussion issues during the early part of the campaign.
Holdsworth signed a lucrative two-year deal when he joined from Salford at the end of last season, but he now appears likely to be heading for an early exit.
Hull FC owner Adam Pearson admitted last week that he intends to review the team’s options at half-back – an area the side has had problems with in recent seasons.
Pearson revealed he would be willing to listen to offers for Holdsworth, whose agent Sam Ayoub denied speculation that NRL side Melbourne Storm had already tabled a bid.
